Volunteerism not only provides needed resources for Catholic Community Service (CCS), but also allows us to offer more compassionate services to people in need. In return, we attempt to provide each of our volunteers with an enriching experience that matches their interests and enhances the quality of their lives.
CCS relies on 200 volunteers each year who give of their hearts and hands to provide help and create hope for over 10,000 people served by our 3 Divisions and over 45 programs and services throughout the Southeast Alaska region. There are several different volunteer opportunities available. All Catholic Community Service volunteers must pass a background check and complete the Code of Conduct and Confidentiality agreement before placement.
