Powerful Families

In partnership with Casey Family Programs the Family Resource Center facilitates workshops that meet once a week for nine weeks on Financial Literacy, Parent Advocacy and Parent Leadership.

Powerful Families trains parents and caregivers to lead, manage money, and advocate for their families and each other.

Powerful Families workshops are fun and free of charge.  Co-run by parents, the workshops foster stable, strong relationships between parents and children. Together, involved families build their social support networks.

A meal is provided during all classes and child care is provided during evening classes.
