Child Care & Family ResourcesChild Care and Family Resources (CCFR) provides leadership in developing, maintaining and advocating for services that keep children safe and strengthen and enhance the health, harmony and self-sufficiency of families. Most CCFR services are provided in a “wall-less agency,” not in traditional office setting. Services are provided in the home and community, wherever families are. Overview of Services
Child Care
Assistance Program provides financial assistance to help low and moderate income families pay the cost of child care while the parents are working or attending school.
The
Young Parent Centerprovides drop-in services to support all pregnant and parenting teens, supporting healthy lifestyle choices and behaviors.
Family Resource
Centerprovides a comprehensive array of program/services in a healthy accessible environment for children and families in need of assistance.
Family Support Services provides two child abuse/neglect intervention/prevention programs: Family Support and Family Preservation/Time Limited Reunification. Family Support provides home or office counseling visits around parenting issues and a six-week parenting class. Family Preservation/Time Limited Reunification provides services to families who have children in foster care. All families must be referred by the State of Alaska Office of Children’s Services.
The S.A.F.E.
Child Advocacy Center is designed to be a safe, culturally sensitive, child-friendly environment where children and non-offending parents are interviewed and receive services in cases of sexual and physical abuse.
Puddle Jumpers Childcare Center provide care and nurture to 30 children at a time. |
